e-Ballot is a complete self-administration system provided to every locality. All administration is conducted by the locality and State. All absentee ballots and return packages are returned to the locality absentee election manager, not to Calvacere.
Ensuring Ballot Secrecy
e-Ballot provides a complete cycle of security and secrecy from the voters' browser to the absentee election manager. Decrypting the return package will allow the absentee election manager to complete the next stage of the absentee process and copy the ballot to a countable ballot.
e-Ballot ensures that the secrecy of the ballot is maintained using encryption of the return package which is hashed both at the browser and in the e-Ballot Box receiving server.
Validation of a Voters email address
e-Ballot can send confirmation emails to all ADA, Absentee, and UOCAVA voters before any election to ensure the communication email is live and monitored by the voter. Those that do not respond can be contacted again as a reminder before an election.

e-Ballot provides a complete email success/fail dashboard to identify issues and rectify communication issues before and during an election period. All failures are shown on the dashboard including hard and soft fails.
